We offer the New York State Certified and Approved 40 hour Security Guard Instructor Development Course (IDC).
This course consists of a blend of classroom instruction and student presentations.
Upon successful completion of this course, each student will receive a certification.
Properly certified students will be authorized to conduct, at state approved security guard training schools:
- 8 hour Pre Assignment Course
- 16 hour On the Job Course
- 8 hour Annual In Service course
We have been teaching security professionals and police officers for over 20 years.
This course is taught by a State Certified Master Police Instructor who has taught thousands of courses for government and corporate clients.

We also offer the New York State Certified and Approved 40 hour Enhanced Security Guard Instructor Course (Train the Trainer).
This course is certified by the STATE OF NEW YORK Office of Homeland Security. (Counter Terrorism)
Upon successful completion of this course, each student will receive a certification.
Properly certified students will be authorized to conduct, at state approved security guard training schools:
- 40 hour enhanced security guard course
